It's so bizarre. How many talks have we heard from the GB that tell us how JW's don't back down or kowtow to the authorities. They want JWs to think they're all HAM when it comes to that stuff. Now it's 'welllll you're not realllllly violating christian neutrality'

as was explained, it was for Family Night, which is basically a Bethel talent show. Probably someone with enough pull in the video production services department was able to get a camera and record stuff as he went to different facilities doing his job.
it wasn't supposed to be leaked to youtube. he probably sent it to a friend who sent it to a friend who uploaded it.

sister pants rules: If their job is in a place where they will be seen by non-bethelites such as a lobby, they are not allowed to wear pants. That rule started around 2002. I remember A LOT of sisters being mad. It's a huge pain in the ass to clean and stuff when you're in a skirt.
there's a lot of dumb rules like that. you can't go in or out of a lobby wearing shorts. that was a huge pain in the ass in Brooklyn, since most bethelites lived in a building with a lobby. If you wanted to go running or any sort of fun, you had to bring clothes with you and change later (and then change back).

i never had the privilege to serve at bethel .. therefore, community help is greatly appreciated friends.. do the gb members have their own living quarters separate from the average jw?.
does their "busy" schedule permit field service, if yes, how many hours a month?.
how long are their weekly wednesday meetings?.
pbrow: I should have said national average which is 9-10 hours. They turn their reports in to their cong. like everyone else.
